Daniel Kim is currently Investment Manager at SABIC Ventures, where he leads transaction execution and portfolio management activities for SABIC’s global portfolio. Daniel has over 18 years of experience in the upstream and midstream oil and gas industries, serving in a variety of corporate development, commercial and venture capital roles. He previously worked at BP and Woodside Energy in Perth, Australia. More recently, he was the portfolio manager at Oxy Low Carbon Ventures, where he focused on CCUS investments. He also launched and led the corporate venture capital initiatives at Williams Companies, where he primarily focused on advanced methane monitoring technology investments. Daniel is a graduate of Rice University and holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
